The Story That Ignited A Movement
We began with the unforgettable story of Ella Abukasis, a brave 11-year-old from Sderot, in the South of Israel bordering the Gaza Strip, who lost her life shielding her younger brother from a terror-rocket attack. Her act of courage moved us deeply, and we felt compelled to respond—not just with words, but with art. We designed the “15 Seconds for Sderot” shirt, named after the fleeting moments residents had to find shelter when sirens sounded. In addition to the design, we took Ella’s story and printed it on the inside of the shirt, by the wearers heart, so that people would carry it in their hearts wherever they go! The shirt went viral, resonating with people around the world, and became a symbol of resilience, awareness, and solidarity. That moment became our catalyst and since then we have harnessed human creativity to give a voice to stories that often go untold.

National Unity Campaigns!
In times of crisis in Israel, our national unity campaigns amplify strength and support for those on the frontlines—whether soldiers, victims, or displaced families. These campaigns serve not only as expressions of solidarity, but as powerful reminders that despite our differences, we stand together as one people, one nation.
Israel Activism and Resilience-Building Workshops
Our Israel Activism and Resilience-Building Workshops offer participants a powerful and creative outlet to express themselves in response to current events in Israel and around the world. Through design, art, and storytelling, participants learn to combat online antisemitism, share their personal identities, and deepen their connection to Israel in meaningful and impactful ways. We also work closely with communities in the periphery of Israel, using creativity as a tool to process and overcome trauma—especially in the wake of the October 7th attacks. These workshops provide a space for healing, empowerment, and purpose, turning pain into strength and expression into action.
Online Activism
Design For Israel promotes the truth about Israel through bold, creative design and powerful storytelling on social media, reaching audiences in over 30 countries. In addition to spreading truth through creativity, we aim to spark real, open dialogue and build mutual understanding about the realities of Israel with diverse communities around the world.

Since the tragic events of October 7, we have collectively distributed thousands of dri-fit shirts, prayer booklets, banners, care packages, magnets and so much to IDF soldiers, evacuee citizens of Israel and Jews, throughout Israel and the world, sending a clear message that our strength is through our unity and only when we stand together and learn to live in harmony with one another, with all our differing opinions, will we be able to defeat our enemies for good!!
